Favorite Inspiring Book Lately: Mind Your Mindset

Lately I’ve been going on walks around my little town and listening to my new favorite book on Audible, Mind Your Mindset by Michael Hyatt. I can’t recall how I stumbled upon it, and I’ll be honest, it’s not a particularly exciting book (more like a textbook that has some Malcolm Gladwell elements- but I’m okay with that!).

I love it because I feel like it was written for me. It just makes so much sense. It’s the type of book and explanation of positive thinking that I didn’t realize I’d been looking for as the Happy Professor.

I love the power of positive thinking but I respond much more to logic, so this book helped me connect the dots and really fall in love with how our brains can work if we just know what we want to accomplish and start putting it into practice. The idea that if we change our inner monologue/stories of our past, present, and future, that our habits, actions, and overall lives can improve is so very powerful.

I highly recommend checking out the book if you’ve been needing that extra push to write in a gratitude journal, stop complaining, or have a better attitude- Mind Your Mindset will tell you why it works and how to accomplish it.

Happy reading!
